□ Step by step restrictions on extension of the period of stay other than the purpose of obtaining credits

1. Status

○ The screening criteria for the extension of the period of stay have been strengthened for the case of academic change or end during study in Korea.

○ Cases of requesting an extension of the period of stay continue to occur due to failure to meet paragraph ① subparagraph 5 of academic management regulations article 56(Basic Requirements for Graduation) in KU.(Although all items 1 to 4 of paragraph ① were satisfied)

2. Purpose

○ To fulfill the duty of management and reporting at the university

3. Implementation plan

○ foreign undergraduate students

○ Applied in stages from the 2nd semester of 2021

□ 외국인 학부생 학점취득목적 외 체류기간 연장 제한 시행

1. 현황

○ 유학 중 학적이 변동되는 경우 또는 유학종료자들의 체류기간 연장에 관한 심사 기준 강화됨.
○ 본교 학사운영규정 제 56조(졸업의 기본요건) 제①항 제 1~4호를 모두 충족했지만, 동 항 제5호를 충족하지 못하여 체류기간 연장을 요청하는 사례가 지속적으로 발생함.


2. 목적
대학에서 관리와 신고의 의무를 다하고자 글로벌서비스센터에서 체류기간 연장을 단계적으로 제한하고자 함.


3. 시행안 내용
○ 대 상: 외국인 학부생
※ 학사운영규정 제56조 제①항의 제1~4호를 모두 충족했으나, 제5호를 미충족한 학생
○ 시 기: 2021학년도 제2학기부터 단계적으로 적용
