2020년 2월 졸업예정자 영문성명 신청 및 정정 안내
※ 영문성명 미입력자는 영문 졸업증서를 교부하지 않습니다. (The expected graduates whose name in English is not found on their university records, will be issued the graduation certificate in Korean only.)
※ 졸업증서는 재발급 또는 추가 발급이 되지 않습니다. (Graduation Certificate is issued once and only on Graduation day.)
1. 신청대상자 : 학부 재학생(수료생)/일반대학원 재학생(수료생) 중 2020년 2월 졸업 예정자 중 영문성명이 등록되어 있지 않은 학생 또는 정정이 필요한 학생
2. 신규 및 정정 신청방법 : ⓐ학번 ⓑ학과 ⓒ국문성명 ⓓ영문 성명 순 기재하여 소속학과 행정실로 제출
(Submit ⓐStudent No., ⓑDepartment, ⓒName in Korean, ⓓName in English at your department's office.)
(1) 여권 소지자 (Passport Holder)
여권과 스펠링을 동일하게 표기. (Name must be spelled the same as indicated in your passport.)
(2) 여권 미소지자(No passport)
1) ‘성,(콤마) 이름’ 형식으로 쓰고, 성은 대문자로 모두 기재. (Last name in Capital letters, First Names in order)
2) 이름 첫 글자는 대문자로 시작하며, 자유롭게 표기 (First letter of first names should be written in capital letter)
예) HONG, Gildong / HONG, GIL DONG / HONG, GILDONG 등.
3. Consider carefully how your name should be written in English. For example, Suck (석) and Bum (범) have negative connotations in English whereas Beom and Seok do not.
Also consider that certain spelling may have gender connotation, e.g., Sue(수) is a female name in English whereas Soo is not an English name (and thus no problem). Likewise, 주 should be rendered as Joo but not Jew.
4. 신청기간 : 〜 2020. 01. 31 (금)까지 (Submission should be made by no later than January 31, 2020)
* 신청기간 이후에는 변경이 불가하오니 반드시 기간 엄수바랍니다.
